In 2020 our events will take place around the island, south, west and north and east. You have a huge choice of accommodation to choose from, 3* family run hotels to 4 and 5 * all inclusive hotels. Self catering flats are also available which might suit groups. You will find further information on the tourist board website at www.visitbarbados.org

we asked our festival friends on Facebook @celticfestivalbarbados where they suggest you might want to visit and they came up with a long list! take a pick from here – places to eat recommended – The Fish Pot, Atlantis Hotel, Tapas on the Boardwalk, Sea Shed at Mullins, LaCabane at Batts Rock, Cocktail Kitchen in St Lawrence Gap, The Orange Street Grocer in Speightstown, Shakers Bar, Blakeys on the Boardwalk (for amazing Puddin n souse on a Saturday – Barbados famous local dish). Places to visit they told us – St Nicholas Abbey with its heritage railway and historic house and private distillery up north in St Lucy, Animal Flower Cave up at North Point, PEG Farm, Codrington College down in St John, Oistins Fish Fry on a Friday night at Oistins, Harrisons Cave in the middle of the island, a wonderful tour, Huntes Gardens, Flower Forest Botanical gardens, Gun Hill, Mount Gay rum distillery, and a microlite tour of the East coast!
