2016 music from Jeana Leslie and Boo’s Band at Blakeys

Our musical director Jeana Leslie, from Scottish folk band FARA, will lead an awesome group of Bajan spouge musicians and Scottish folk musicians in a concert at Blakeys on the Boardwalk at Hastings Rock on Friday 26th May from Sundown, to open this year’s Celtic Festival Barbados. There will be music from Jeana, and from Peter Morrison and Ross Couper of the Scottish band Peatbog Faeries, along with Seamus Mclennan and Kirsty Mackenzie. Its a night not to be missed, with Scottish folk music fused with local Bajan spouge as well as Scottish folk tunes on their own. Pipers from Pipefest will lead off with some tunes along the boardwalk at Sundown. Blakeys serve food and drink and if you want to have dinner during this event, its wise to book a table early!
